The Mahony Estate vineyard was established in 1993. Consisting of both classic Hunter Valley and Italian varieties, Mahony Estate’s hillside position and soils provide optimum conditions for achieving full flavour ripeness.
Produced in a modern red wine style. This Barbera displays red fruits and berries with a balanced and long finish. Maturation in older oak barrels has created complex richness on the palate. Perfect with a broad range of Italian food styles, you wouldn’t go past a bowl of steaming ‘Ragù alla bolognese’.
